This is a bitter-sweet blog for me as it is the last article that I will be writing under my Plugging In With GPS™️ umbrella. I had been blogging since October 2018. Many of you know that I also created and host a podcast platform. It’s a digital medium that shall continue.
Writing is one of my gifts. Make no mistake; I have not and will not abandon it. I absolutely love to weave words to edify and satisfy my audiences. I’m often complimented and I wholeheartedly appreciate the comments and loyalty. As you know, I’m also a published author. My coauthor and I published our 1st book in a series in November 2019. Yay! We’re still celebrating as it’s our memoir and although it was not a cakewalk to write, it was an experience that she and I top-shelve as one of our most rewarding “sisterly love” experiences. We discovered things about one another while writing our memoir. Imagine that! We surely did not think that was possible because we have been talking and visiting one another regularly for over 40 years. We have even traveled domestically and internationally together. We admire and love one another even more now since our writing project began. It happens; we are proof that learning and loving can grow. We are grateful to GOD for guiding us to the finish line, completing our first book of many. HE graced us with HIS whispers of encouragement and wisdom to never give up. HE knew that the book was important for several reasons. We not only honored our Mother, we honored HIM while encouraging others to be better than their yesterdays and certainly not to ever give up on life’s possibilities along their journey.
I’ve written a children’s book that will be published in the near future. My older grandson will be helping me with the illustration selections. I wrote about him. Eventually, I’ll write a book about him and his brother who was born this year. I write for others: publicly and privately. To protect their privacy, I won’t disclose names but I openly divulge that I will be writing for a digital magazine that will be accessible this year for your reading pleasure. I also will be writing for a well-known university and a women’s shoes designer. I will share details on my podcast at the appropriate time. I’ve also been asked to write or co-write someone’s autobiography. I accepted and look forward to extending my literary work.
I do not want to deprive my audiences in the U.S., Canada, Asia, Jamaica, United Arab Emirates, Italy, Germany, Japan, UK and other regions around the globe of the enjoyment of Goya’s unique style and candor. Therefore, you will still experience my “beauty in the details” style but just on my podcast episodes now. Yes; even my Goya’s Honoring Women Series and Goya’s Honoring Men Series will be represented in my podcast. The acknowledgment shall continue as so many women and men deserve to be honored for their unselfish and committed contributions to their families, communities, state, country and therefore, the world. People benefit in the masses from their decision to make a difference to impact others’ lives. It is my intent to always applaud and support deserving people “out loud”!!
To further feed my love for writing in addition to other work that I was doing, I started blogging for that reason. My blog page address was 1goya.blogspot.com. You can still access my articles there. I later joined the WordPress bloggers. You can continue to access my archived articles on this stage; I won’t be terminating my WordPress account:

Obama is a “people person”, a man who loves everything surrounding the concept of “Family” and improving life for all. He’s also a man who enjoys life. He recently posted his and Michelle’s Summer PlayList 2019. Ironically, but perhaps not by coincidence, he listed 44 songs. I plan to listen to every one of them.
